Journalist Larry D. Hodge has given us a lively and accurate fresh new look at early Texas heroes and heroines as well as legendary tales of the famous trails, ranches, and events in Texas’s long history. Musician/poet Michael Stevens set out to bring these stories to life in music. Together the two have created a collaborative work that combines traditional favorites and original songs with the historical background of each story.
