Craig and Esther Coombs are the parent of 6 children, Justin being the eldest. They reside in southern New Jersey and are very active in their church (with Craig serving as youth pastor); they participate in Bible study, and both he and Esther spend many hours working in the food pantry. This is their first book.

Lois and Don Crooks reside in Laurel Springs, New Jersey m are married for 52 years and are the parents of 2 children and 4 grandchildren. They are active in various areas of their church in the Paulsboro area, where their love of music finds them having been organist and choir director for 27 years.

This is their second book, which they coauthored with the Coombs, and Don illustrated. Their first book was The Bird in the Bag, which Lois authored and Don illustrated. The love of the Lord, family, and friends are foremost in their lives.
