Many objects could be described as bumpy: roads, footballs, and even a toad’s skin. Learning to describe objects and discern how they’re different from or like other objects is an important part of the early elementary curriculum. This carefully written, at-level narrative demonstrates the use of the adjective bumpy, aided by colorful pictures to aid readers’ comprehension of each accessible sentence.
