Thirty years after tragedy shut down the classic children’s program Mister Magic, the six surviving members of the circle of friendship have done their best to move on. To forget the show, the way the rest of the country seems to have.

Easy enough, with no remaining video, no evidence of who wrote the show, who produced it, who-or even what-Mister Magic actually was.

But Amber’s been haunted ever since her father abducted her from on-set housing in the middle of the night. Why did he risk everything to kidnap her? And why, the very next day, did the show end in tragedy with the death of the youngest cast member?

An invitation to a reunion, coupled with a threat that makes it impossible to refuse, brings Amber back to the filming compound she was ripped away from. Back to the five other remaining friends.
