Here is a collection of recorded memories, fact, fiction, and stages in between. It follows up the collaborated Bob's Gettysburg Saga & Poetry, which was published in 2014. In these pages, Bob visits the Alamo, with all its spiritual and ghostly history. Herein are encountered many of the characters that shaped Texas and, to this day, keep its legend alive. From Bob and Texas, the book unfolds into the broader West with two obituaries and two tales of strife and daring-do. As in the past, I have illustrated the narrative with photographs. I hope the reader may enjoy this collection of historical reminiscence as much as I enjoyed writing it. -Doug Hodges
