This small book is about the wide adventures of young Bella and her friend Freddy, the teddy bear, when they ‘fall into’ a book while visiting her ‘Uncle’ Dan’s bookshop. They find themselves in a strange land where they encounter unusual creatures, some of who present a threat and some who also assist them in their efforts to get back to Momma.

Each of these encounters teaches Bella and Freddy about those who are different than them. Bella and Freddy also learn about real friendship and when to trust.
