The Sri Rehras Sahib is the evening prayer recited by Sikhs worldwide. Unlike a lot of other prayers this is a collected amalgamation on shabads by various Gurus. The shabads are from both Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and Sri Dasam Granth. There are a number of different versions of the Sri Rehras Sahib available to read out there but the one within this text almost mirrors the one recited within the Puratan Sampardas even today. This commentary is very different. It is a commentary by the great Nirmala scholar, Mahant Ganesha Singh. Unlike other Nirmalas his commentaries are pretty basic but the essence of the definitions is not lost within the simplicity. I wanted to provide both the original commentary in Gurmukhi along with a translation of the commentary. This is due to the fact that this commentary has been out of print for a significant amount of time and to those seekers of the original commentary it is available again.
