Lisa Marie Presley, born in Memphis, Tennessee, U.S. on the 1st of February, 1968 was a singer & songwriter, the only child of Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley. During her career in the music business, Lisa Marie released 3 L.Ps: To Whom It May Concern (2003), which went gold in the US, followed by Now What (2005) then Storm & Grace (2012). She also issued non-album singles, including duets with Elvis Presley using tracks that were released during his lifetime. Lisa Marie was born 9 months to the day after her parents' wedding. After they divorced, she lived with her mum in Los Angeles, with frequent stays with her dad at Graceland in Memphis. Lisa's parents divorced when she was 4 yrs old. When Elvis passed away on 16th August 1977, nine-yr-old Lisa Marie became joint heir to his estate with her 59-yr-old grandad, Vernon Presley, and his 87-yr-old mother, Minnie Mae. After the deaths of Vernon in 1979 then her great-grandma the following year, she became sole heir, inheriting the estate of c. $100 million on her 25th birthday, 1st Feb. 1993. Lisa Marie sold 85% of her dad's estate during 2004. A couple of years after the death of Elvis, she attended her 1st rock concert, Queen at The Forum in Inglewood, California, where she gave Freddie Mercury one of her dad's scarves after the show, while expressing her liking for theatrics. Priscilla began dating actor Michael Edwards shortly after Elvis passed away. Lisa Marie was allegedly sexually abused by Edwards when she was a teenager. She told Playboy magazine in 2003 that Michael would enter her room when drunk then molest her. Lisa made a video of Don't Cry Daddy as a posthumous duet with her dad during 1997, which was played on August 16th, 1997, at the tribute concert that marked the 20th anniversary of Elvis Presley's death. The video used Elvis' original vocal to which new instrumentation & Lisa Marie's vocals were added. She issued her 1st L.P., To Whom It May Concern, on April 8th, 2003, which hit No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart, going gold that June 2003.
