When Helene and husband Amine arrive in Malta for their "yearly honeymoon" they are soon contacted by a self-proclaimed kidnapper who claims to be detaining their daughters. After checking that the girls are still where they are meant to be, Helene and Amine will play amateur detectives and try to find out what is happening in that luxury hotel, where they had only come for a much deserved break from the worries of work and parenthood. As they meet other couples facing the same predicament and threats, Helene will have to use her linguistic skills, but will they manage to sort the issues at hand and be allowed to leave the country after solving the problem?
