Carla D. Lang, the author of Feminastidy, is a native of Charleston, MS. Currently she resides in the Metropolitan Area of Saint Louis, MO, and works as a Human Resource Advisor for the US Government. In her pursuit to follow her mother’s dream, Ms. Lang began writing poetry and prose shortly after her mother’s death. Her first book, Feminastidy, is a collection of poetry that reveals the emotional turmoil that a great number of women endure. The name Feminastidy is a word made up by the author to describe women that carry the outward appearance of a lady, but bare the burden of both men and women.
