They thought the river would keep them safe but it became their prison

Ben was raised on the canals of Sanctuary, a floating village that meant protection from the vampires. Since his father’s death he has been responsible for the place and its people. With a family of his own he feels the burden even more keenly.

When Ben learns that the vampires have a plan that will allow them to enter the village he decides that something has to be done. Along with a select group of people Ben travels to London where there are weapons they can use to fight the vampires. The journey does not go according to plan and when they arrive they find a nasty surprise waiting for them. They fight for their lives but, if they don’t make it back, Ben stands to lose much more than that.
