Ten year old Princess Iryna Alexandrovna Romanov is sent to England in 1910 under an assumed identity. She suspects the Tsar, her uncle plans for her to one day be Queen of England. But when War breaks out, Iryna is kept in hiding for her own safety. But as the war draws to an end and Romanovs all over Europe are being slaughtered, one by one, not even the English crown feels like enough protection. She manages to make a life in Paris, until war threatens again, sending her to the safety of the United States of America.
