so i'm reading this on my phone as i cross the street and i almost get hit by this truck that says "ishmael's fish" on it and i immediately wonder if moby dick has ever been presented in morse code. as it turns out, it hasn't! Bill Gearhiser on youtube has converted the first few pages to the actual sound of morse code for beginners to practice learning, (and you should check that out), but i realized suddenly that here's a great chance to put something out into the universe. as it turned out, there's no easy way to take a large chunk of text and convert it immediately to morse code, so i had to write a script to do it for me and i send this message out to scott lutz, with love, your friend, alan.
