The Peele Heritage is the second book in The First Peelle Family In America series written on the interrelated Peal/Peel/Peele/Peelle families. It follows the Peele Chronicles and documents the origin and heritage of both the English and American families. It contains three important chapters which together lead the reader to understanding the heritage of the family. First, it depicts the origin of the Peele family in England by republishing The Peels, A Family Sketch, written by the Right Honorable Jonathan Peele of England in 1877. Second, it documents the English Peel family tree developed from several sources to prove the authenticity of Jonathan Peel's works. Finally, the book contains the first ten generations of the American family tree beginning with Lawrence Peelle, the first English ancestor arriving on the Virginia shores in 1620.
