But since for dictio includes both a continuous speech (phrase) that a single word, and since it is customary to call barbarism only one product in a word, it is more appropriate that we use this definition: [barbarism is an expression in written or spoken so bad that transgresses the norms of the Roman language] the barbarism is a word corrupta both in speech and in the written and this is not Latin.
