SEC jj Whereas, there is no law now in force in this state prescribing the manner in which private property may be acquired for the use of the State of Washington, therefore an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this act shall be in force and effect from and after its passage and approval. That section 1975 of chapter CXXXIX of the code of Washington relating to liens be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 1975. Any Laborer’s nen. person who shall do labor upon any farm or land, in tilling the same or in sowing or harvesting or threshing any grain, as laborer, contractor or otherwise, or laboring upon, or securing or assisting in securing or housing any crop or crops sown, raised or threshed thereon during the year in which said work or labor was done, such person shall have a lien upon all such crops as shall have been raisedupon all or any of such land, for such work or labor, and every landlord shall have a lien upon the crops, gr…
