After decades of wasteful government spending and shortsighted policy making, the United States is in dire straits. After their oil supplies are interrupted and immigration turns to emigration, the U.S. is desperate indeed. Their lifeline comes in the form of Steve Swanson and Swanson Inc. The successful alternative energy company cuts a deal. Theyall provide the necessary influx of cash along with a supply of lower cost renewable energy. And in return the U.S. will do the unthinkable, give up some of its territory. Angry All the Time takes place two years after Swanson Inc. becomes the new nation of Roseland. In that short time it becomes clear that the two countries intend to follow very different paths. Can the two nations exist side by side? Or will the U.S. find another enemy, this time at its own doorstep?
