This was a period of major transition for most American youths, especially in Southern California. Drug and alcohol use were on the uprise, along with promiscuous sex and violent gang activity. Johnny and T-Birds are the main characters in this story. They were members of a car club known as the ‘Greek Gods of South Bay’.The final week of Johnny and T-Bird’s life as they had known it in the Southern Los Angeles. It relates in detail, the closeness and friendship of their girlfriends and their buddies in the Greek Gods who had all been together for several years. The story illustrates countless hours of comedy and drama that leads up to a night of a savage gang fight with two rival clubs known as the Grinders and the Heads.
