What if there was no tomorrow? What if, in the blink of an eye, loved ones, friends, and passersby were disintegrated right in front of you but you were still alive? When a new government heat bomb is accidentally set off, a teenaged boy finds himself alone in a world that has been virtually destroyed. Devastated by the loss of his family and horrified by the death and destruction all around him, he seeks shelter from a tree house that he remembers seeing on his way to school. Just when he is almost at the point of losing his mind, he finds he is not alone. One by one he meets up with three other teenagers. They become the best of friends as they go through hardships and moments that push them all to their breaking points as they struggle to find their place in the new world.
