Father Michael Kerrigan was used to women’s advances. Extremely rugged and good-looking, he was the man of many women’s dreams. Even his pastor noted that God must have given him his good looks to be a test for him from time to time. For Michael, there never was a test he couldn’t pass–until Kathleen Davis entered his life. A beautiful woman with two young children getting out of an emotionally abusive marriage made Michael open his heart to her. Fate brings them together, and Michael ultimately is faced with choosing between his vocation and the woman he’s grown to love. Could it be by God’s design that he be faced with the most ultimate test of all?
