Bedae: Historia Ecclesiastica Gentis Anglorum est opus historicum a venerabili Beda Venerabilis, monacho et presbytero Anglo-Saxonico, scriptum. Libellus narrat historiam Ecclesiae in Britannia ab anno 597 usque ad annum 731, et continet multas narrationes de vita sanctorum et miraculis eorum. Beda describit conversionem Anglorum ad Christianismum, et praecipue missionem Augustini, archiepiscopi Cantuariensis, qui pervenit in Britanniam a papa Gregorio Magno. Opus historico continet etiam narrationes de regibus et regnis Anglo-Saxonum, et de conflictibus inter Anglos et Britannos. Beda est consideratus pater ecclesiae Anglicanae, et Historia Ecclesiastica Gentis Anglorum est considerata una ex fontibus primariis de historia Britannica.
