My Faith is my life. Mary Pat Nally was born Mary Patricia in Youngstown, Ohio, in April 1971. Raised in a family that made it a point to help others, it is no wonder she has dedicated her life to serving the less fortunate. Her vision has taken her to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Washington, DC, Sierra Leone, West Africa, and Juneau, Alaska. Walking the Chicago Race for the Cure in 2001, the Avon 3 Day Breast Cancer Marathon, Boston 2002, and the 2 Day in DC, 2003, has challenged her to step beyond her comfort zone and overcome many physical and emotional obstacles. Finally, Mary Pat’s love of nature brought her to Yosemite, Denali, Yellowstone, Mt. Rushmore, Grand Tetons and to the skies of Illinois where she experienced the thrill of skydiving. This is Mary Pat’s journey, a record of how she discovered life through faith, freedom, frustration and everything in between. Mary Pat’s life has been dedicated to serving those in need physically, emotionally and spiritually. Her work reflects her strength, spirituality, love of nature and sincere heart as she walks this journey we call life. Mary Pat holds a B.A. in religious studies along with a M.S. in experiential education.
