Captain George aMahia Forrestal has retired from the Coast Guard and moved to Key West where, with retired Nurse Practitioner Sharande Kellermann, he has opened a charter fishing business with a boat purchased with their investments. Captain Mahi and Sharande are successful with their business and, along with Chef Hector Martinez, a small Cuban who stole a Jet Ski from Castro and drove it across the Florida Straits, begin a series of adventures. Hector goes to Waterfront Market to buy food with Misty. While at Waterfront Market, the Cubans decide they want him back. The Cubans come to Key West, kidnap him and Misty, and take them to Cuba. Mahi and his friends find out, get angry and decide to go after Hector and Misty and break them out of a Cuban prison under the presidential palace. This starts a great adventure for Mahi and Sharande and a host of others who not only go and get Hector and Misty, but Mahi also gets the love of his life, Elena and her son, out of Cuba as well.
