Life: it did not come with an owneras manual to give us instructions on how to react or what to think or feel. No one ever told us that life would be a roller-coaster ride, with numerous highs and lows, where we would feel that we lost control of the speed or direction that our life would take us! Thoughts Unspoken is a collection of poems dealing with the emotions and various circumstances that friends, family, and I have experienced during that unpredictable journey down this road we call life. Many times, we have all found the journey smoothawith no traffic or red lights. There have been times when we lost our way and needed directions on how to get to our destination. Other times, we hit pot holes and detours, where we must stop for repairs. Then, there are the times that we get a ticket and must pay a fine! This collection of poetry from the past twenty years reflects that all of us, no matter our age, sex, heritage, or financial circumstances, are not alone in our travels. The important realityathat we must rememberais that there are other individuals experiencing the same obstacles and joys on this path, who share the same feelings as we do, only their thoughts, too, are unspoken.
