Seventeen-year-old Megan Taylor has always looked to Mount Hero - the most beautiful mountain in the entire San Juan Range in Colorado - for her strength. Through the difficult days of her parents’ divorce and the end of her promising career as a professional ice skater, her mountain is the only thing she has been able to depend on to always be there for her. As Christmas approaches this year, though, Megan uncovers a threat to the survival of her father’s shopping mall by conniving forces that seem to be out of her control. As she unravels this mystery, with the support of her young friend Emily and handsome new acquaintance Todd, she is also faced with the truth about herself and those she loves. Megan has to meet her fears head on. By learning to looking to God for her strength, she finds that she is able to forgive those who have hurt her by experiencing Christ’s forgiveness in her own life.
