The Hand of Jesus (1868)

It is strange how individuals write poems or even in diaries, when they are in pain. Me being one of them, I can relate. We go day by day and in the end, writing our feelings, frustrations, or even love is the way we get them out. I believe that the words one uses to describe such feelings are beautiful. Not for the pain they maybe feeling, but the way they use words to describe it. Making the reader feel or even understand the pain in one’s heart. That is a skill I hope to one day fully accomplish. A Daughter’s Wounded Heart is not only poetry but my thoughts and events behind the poetryA[a–A] It tells my story from the year after my mother’s deathA[a–A]
