Meditations on the Book of Common Prayer (1873)

The Bible is one of the most powerful and beloved books of all time, yet it is also the most theorized, misinterpreted, and altered books in existence. Even though most of what is written in the Bible takes a giant step away from the anorma of what a logical mind is able to embrace, we accept its words without question. The Bible tells us that God, this one lone being, created all living things. We believe the Bible, and we worship it. But have you ever wondered exactly what Godas afiery chariota was? Have you ever asked yourself what abrimstone and firea is? Most people have not. In 1969, however, Erich von Daniken published a book entitled, Chariot of the Gods? Mr. von Daniken offered his theory that God was an ancient astronaut and that atomic weaponry was used in antiquity. Beyond the Holy reaches far beyond the religious spectrum of the Bible to further prove that Mr. von Danikenas theory is, indeed, possible. What I discovered has truly created for me a whole new understanding of the Bible and of our amighty and terrible Goda (Deut. 7: 21). In this book, I share those findings with you. The church seems to be offering us the certainty of the written words of the Bible. However, I believe that the church is keeping the absolute truth from us. In 1969, when Erich von Daniken asked if God was an ancient astronaut, the answer should have been, resoundingly, YES!
