Christina Johnson is in charge of the murder investigation of her best friend and lover of 15 years, Helen Anderson, as well as eight other murders. Throughout the investigation, she runs a gamut of emotions ranging from grief to utter hatred of the perpetrators. Her husband is involved somehow, as is her son and her husband’s best friend.
