Shawna Moore is a big girl, a Moose Girl, as she calls herself. Her loving, large-size family loves her and accepts her as she is, and so does Shawna’s friend, Lisa Spicer and her friend/romantic interest, Rodney Fisher. But Shawna has visions of an innner, thinner self. Lisa persuades Shawna to join a new club at school, the Best Beautiful Bodies, or 3Bs. The club is dedicated to helping the girls achieve the weight that is right for each of them. Some unexpected revelations occur when the club gets to appear on a local teen talk show and face those who put down large people.
