Reflexions Chretiennes (1687)

These poems that I have arranged are an anthology of my past three years’ worth of writing, since the summer when I was sixteen and just beginning to learn what this world is all about. I believe that this world is more than what you see on TV. It is more than what you see in the movies. It is more than what you read about in magazines. It is more than people coming into contact with each other day after day and saying the same things. I believe this world is about truth and beauty. And it needs more words, words to describe what it really is. These real, solid words are the root of all that we encounter in everyday life, and that is what I have to offer through my poetry.
