The story begins in a small town in Oklahoma in the 1930s, the start of the Dust Bowl and the era known as the Dirty Thirties. Caleb Carrington awoke from a deep sleep covered with sweat and shaking all over. This was not an unusual occurrence for Caleb. For as long as he could remember he had suffered from the same nightmare. He referred to the nightmare as the unseen terror, which was not altogether true, for he did see part of the nightmare-two chocolate brown eyes that turned his soul to ice. Tonight the nightmare was different. He had seen the terror. Finally a face to go with the eyes. A face beautiful beyond compare, and he wasn’t terrified of it until he awoke and knew in his heart the face was pure evil in disguise. Caleb’s nightmare becomes a reality when the demon from his dreams comes to life as his daughter. The story spans twenty years. Does good triumph over evil? If so, how can anyone stop a demon that has all the powers of Satan at her disposal?
