One of These Days/When I was younger I laughed and played as a child./I was interested in everything though my temperament was mild./But as I’ve grown that’s faded and now all I am is bitter,/And I hear people whisper Her new disposition doesn’t fit her. /Well as a matter of fact my adulterated mind begs to differ,/When my adult life has seemed like nothing but an endless winter./I’ve seen hunger, poverty, greed and a plethora of ignorant people,/And all of it just seems so dishearteningly wrongful./So I’ll continue in my cynical ways/And hope that every one else will get it one of these days.
