Letters from the Peninsula, 1808-1812 (1909)

William Warre

Our Cool School Zoo Revue is a spiritually inspired book written for children, about children. Along with aMiss Evon Lee Shepharda the school class goes on an outing to the Mirror View Zoo. There is Tim Panzee, George Raff (G. Raff), Ellie Fant, Wally Russ, and othersa] (well, you get the picture)… They each resemble the zoo animal characterized by their name and are teased, bullied and taunted about their likenesses to each animal a any and all such things that children tease and are teased about. Something fun to search for within each illustration is a subtly drawn aAngel Winga graphic (a squiggly, backwards asa with oval-shaped head and halo) ~ included with each drawing to show, encourage and comfort children, young people and adults that we are all watched over by angels, all of the time! All poetic lines end in spiritually positive, uplifting and supportive verse with the intent of fostering caring relationships amongst friends, family, play- and schoolmates alike.
