Cours D'Etudes Historiques V16 (1847)

My sojourn into the world of Islam and the Arabs began when I was a student at Weber State College in Ogden, Utah, during the 1970s. When I graduated, I joined the U.S. Peace Corps and served in Niger, in West Africa. When I returned home I joined the U.S. Air Force Reserve. In 1990, I served in Deseret Storm. Later, I made my first of four deployments to the Middle East in support of Operation Southern Watch. After retirement I was laid off from my employment as a teacher and found work in Saudi Arabia teaching at a school in Riyadh, serving members of the Saudi Royal Family. This is where the adventures begin.
