A small group of seeds gets separated from their homeland and carried across the ocean to a small island where they grow and are harvested by the friendly valley natives. They go through the varied stages of development, from growth to adulthood, and struggle to deal with the problems they face without any of their own kind to guide them–until they decide to leave their island and search for their people.
