This poem is beautifully written. It is very difficult to achieve the emotion and depth that a person often feels in poetry. It is even more difficult to express that depth in rhyme. This poem has achieved just that. It expresses, in an open, loving way, the desire to raise someone above where they believe their position should be in life.
