The Unfortunate Man V1 (1835)

This book was extremely enjoyable for me to write. It brought back a lot of fond memories of a teenaged boy, who, in conjunction with his twin brother, grew into a young man in an abbreviated amount of time. Carlisle Military School honed our living and survival skills and prepared us, along with other generations of young boys that had preceded us, for the non-imaginary world. Since we belonged to a dysfunctional family, this institution indelibly immersed us in a new world where honor, duty, and self-respect were indoctrinated on a daily basis. Those of us who were fortunate enough to complete our education at this academy share a common bond and are proud of our accomplishments.
