Ruby McPherson is a songstress/songwriter of modern themes in the scope of ordinary life. The hardships, joys, lessons, and trails endured or stumbled upon are represented in a collection of 100 of her songs, thus the name First Century. There is a Second Century and a Third Century as well, and she is currently working on her Fourth Century. An articulate lyricist, Ruby is empathetic and seriously hoping to touch the heart and enlighten the soul of the common man/woman. Her humble willingness to stand naked in front of the world, sometimes displaying a dysfunctional attitude or confused state of mind, is sincerely a gift to humanity from her.
