Memorials of Bygone Manchester: With Glimpses of the Environs (1880)

Richard Wright Procter

Going Against the Grain is about a journey to find the causes of degenerative disease as perceived not through the eyes of mainstream medicine, but rather through the eyes of the core issues that promote disease. The result of this experience has been to come to an understanding that our negative or inharmonious thoughts, perceptions, and beliefs are the core cause of disease, that they indeed open the door to disease in the physical body. Accepting the true nature of the way the immune system works at the physical level has led to an understanding of the nutrients needed to empower the immune systemas ability to sustain the human body while we work to release and heal the core cause of disease. The guideline for the journey was to stay within the perimeters of the inherent natural order of things versus the route much of science, pharmaceutical companies, and the FDA are taking in pursuing these same answers while ignoring the natural order in lieu of power and wealth.
