Thomas McCrie

Cronus, king of the Titans and lord of the universe, has devoured his children to secure his reign. He forever lives in fear of his father’s prophecy that one day his children will depose him. His wife, Rhea, successfully hides the existence of their newborn son, Zeus, with the help of her mother, Gaea. Gaea takes Zeus to the island of Crete, where he is raised by three nymphs along with his foster brother, Pan. Zeus’s childhood is happy and peaceful until one day he enters the forbidden forest and finds a beautiful forest nymph who detects his presence. However, the beautiful creature is no nymph, but rather the Titaness Metis. Zeus and his family are forced to flee west to Mount Ida, where Gaea comes to Zeus and reveals to him his true identity.
