In the author’s words: These poems that I shall share with you; Are both fantastic and sublime; All contain some simple truths; The best ones often rhyme; In keeping with our modern times; I’ve tried to cut a slice, A vivisected portait of, Depravity & vice; And let’s be true, as well, to those; Who’ve travelled virtue’s trod; By paying subtle homage to; The kindnesses of God; Some are little stories told; Of grand adventures, brash and bold; And others are the keenings of; My scarcity of gold; And some of them are simple thoughts–; How I amuse myself; And some of them are sly invective; Subterfuge by stealth; I could call them clever, cunning, Cutting to the bone–; I’ll let my work speak for itself
