The year is 3357. It is one hundred years after the terrible Machine War, during which over a hundred billion human beings lost their lives to the relentless onslaught of automated intelligence. It was during this war that the Interstellar Human Alliance was forged to unite the galaxy against the machines. Now, however, an incredibly powerful new leader has risen to dominate the Alliance on the heels of the destruction of a heavily populated world. His goal, known only to a very few, is the creation of a satanic anti-utopia throughout the galaxy. A small few have banded together in a remote corner of the galaxy to resist him and to preserve their faith for posterity. This is their story.
