Parson and People: Or Incidents in the Everyday Life of a Clergyman (1864)

There are many poems about my own personal experiences because I was a hardheaded child and wanted to know everything for myself. Most of what these poems include are the loves that I lost, whether to death or ignorance. Have you ever felt lonely? Have you ever felt like no one understands? Do you have a child you just canat relate to? Is your friend in denial that she is beautiful or being abused? This is a book of poems that has every angle to approach sensitive subjects. It has helped me throughout many obstacles. Many of my poems touch on all subjects. What others had to say as far as advice did not interest me. I had obstacles in my way, one being that I grew up separated from my siblings, which I did express openly.
