For Love of Country, is about the York family’s hardships during the American Civil War. Two brothers, Max and Jeff York of Virginia, agonize as their sons go off to fight for the Southern cause. They understand that their sons will be in danger, but what they don’t realize are the dangers coming to their homes. This novel takes the reader from the battlefields, where brave men fight, to Southern homes where the families also suffered.
