This is a poignant story about a family, the Lincolns, who live through a summer of challenges. Each family member is faced with a personal challenge he or she must ultimately overcome. With each otheras help and the help of others, as well as through personal struggle and perseverance, the family works toward a conclusion that will bring happiness and stability to each of their lives. The father, Jack, must keep the family together after a tragic accident. The mother, Beth, must be the family rock of stability. The son, Jerry, must overcome his sense of guilt and return from a strange world he enters, believing this world will help him to forget his pain and guilt. The daughter, Andrea, whose accident sets in motion the events and outcome for each member of the family, must work the hardest and endure the most to overcome her unseen and unknown demon.
