Rudi finds a home at the North Pole after being exiled from the land of Ponchatoula. He and Buttercup, Santaas lead deer, become friends. Buttercup and Santa try to find a way to send Rudi back to his own country with honor. All the animals, including Black Bear and Eager Beaver, sing joyful songs because they are so happy that Rudi will get to return home to his parents.
