Alibi for the Wicked is a detective story set in the late 1990s. Ronald Stallbeck is a psychiatrist who works with the police department to provide psychiatric evaluations on suspects. The small town of Cattonsville, Maryland, respects the doctor contributions that make him a beloved citizen of the community. Ronas life couldnat be more perfectauntil a serial killer that claims to be from his past begins a killing spree and leaves a message linking the doctor to every scene. The whole town becomes frightened and could be a potential victim, including Ronas family. Ron is forced to revisit his past and find the missing link that connected himself to this killer. The suspect leaves rhymes at every scene with clues to his identity. When the pressure begins to mount and city officials start demanding answers, Ron makes a choice of his own.
