On Corpulence in Relation to Disease: With Some Remarks on Diet (1872)
William Harvey
Many times I have felt alone but have found comfort and a firm foundation in friends and family. My father used to say, aA soul is a soul ultimately standing alone before God the Father.a My mother used to tell me that itas not what happens to you that matters but your attitude that God sees. I have drunk the wells of salvation deeply and wish to pour out a life of praise in the pages of this poetry. For out of my belly flow rivers of living water. May my readers know that life is not a perpetual crushing of the soul. May they overcome even in weakness and brokenness while they lean on Jesus, the firm foundation. Youall find in this book a sweet aroma to Him, for he opened a window and gave me a peek of treasures written in He and me.
