Heroes & Villains is a Game Master's supplement for the Sword & Caravan OSR campaign setting. It features all the most important NPCs of the Silk Road in the chronological order they appear in history. Each NPC entry includes a biography, adventure cues for different points in the chronology where the PCs might find themselves involved, and statistics for the NPCs.
The book also contains special rules for playing or generating Ismaili Nazari Assassins, as well as rules for creating & using special Song Dynasty explosives in your campaign. Finally, an appendix lists the names and brief biographies of the Grand Masters of the Templar, Hospitaller, and Teutonic orders of knights.
As a Game Master, it can often be difficult to populate your game world with characters complete with well-thought-out connections and motivations. This can be especially daunting in a historical setting if you're not an armchair historian.
Now you can leave the guesswork out of world-building and run your games with confidence. With the Heroes & Villains supplement, you'll easily be able to flesh out your NPCs and take your Sword & Caravan campaign to the next level!
