This novel chronicles the immersion of Roland Pearce into the world of the seen and unseen.

Pearce, an acupuncturist by trade, works with regular physical ailments, as well as, the world of the unseen such as demons, ghosts, and creatures from legend and myth. Set in modern day reality in Portland, Oregon in 2017, Pearce’s adventures take him all over the Pacific Northwest.

Pearce’s experiences question the reality of the dominant paradigm, as he tracks patterns and learns how the current world situations influence the world of spirit and vice versa. Through his various experiences, Pearce begins to learn how these situations set the stage for the impending war between the light and the dark.

The reader will find this story to be a thinking person’s novel, dense with not only Pearce’s understanding of Chinese medicine, but also his understandings of how the angelic and demonic worlds which unify here on earth.

This is not a work of horror or a book on how to summon demons, but the story of one man and how he walks the path of learning mastery while encountering that which is inexplicable in modern culture.
